Umm, excuse me, Joe, but you've just contradicted yourself, first you say it's the fault of the previous prez and administration, then you say it's the fault of the electorate.

So which is it?

Secondly, how do you know how I voted? Have you been peeking at ballots, matching umbers to names? As far as I remember, I've never stated how I voted in any given election.

Then you go on to accuse me of being a Republican, where is your proof? I belong to NO party. So your angry rant about my "poor choices" is nothing more than you pissing in the wind.

I can't speak about CC/Pall. I do know there was a sign that somebody carried, that said something. It's a First Amendment right to do so, or have you forgotten that? Perhaps in your Utopia, speech is free as long as you agree with it. I don't recall you stepping up when I was called a racist in this forum.

Almost everyone who is in the public eye, chose to put themselves there. That includes me. With that choice, we expose ourselves to attacks that are sometimes viscous and personal. 

I'm not opposed to government, Joe, I'm opposed to government that is oppressive, overbearing and overly powerful. The flame that our forefathers ignited as a servant of the people has, instead, become our master.

Besides, Republicans elected an idiot. Twice. So until I hear you say you're sorry about your own recent poor choices, I don't want to hear complaints about politicians in general. It is not every politician's fault. Saying so just hides the real facts, e.g. that you and others elected an idiot and now we are all paying for it. 

And guess what? You tried to do it again with Palin. This anti-government talk just leads folks to thinking that we're better off with inexperienced idiots but we're not.

Lastly, I didn't see you complain when Mr. Christ Church called Linda Pall a bigot. Who in their right mind would want to run for office under such conditions? No one but an idiot. And since we're looking for a saint the only ones electable are inexperienced idiots, ones with no visable track record.

We've created this situation, Kai, not the politicians. We only have ourselves to blame. This is the beauty -- and the burden -- of living in a Democracy! Ultimately our government is our fault.

The proper statement is: "We're in a bad way because of the Republicans and Democrats who have been running this country into the ground for decades."
Anyone who believes it is the fault of one party or another is either a partisan hack or a fool.
You never hear party members or their leaders say, "We/I screwed up." It's ALWAYS "the other party's fault."

First, we're in a bad way. What we need is to come together not particine bickering. Second, we're in a bad way because of the last administration and President. Blame him for your troubles, not our taxes.
