[Vision2020] No Weatherman

The two (three?) posts a day rule is a "gentleman's agreement".  It's 
meant to help keep this list free from becoming complete anarchy.  There 
is no punishment for going over the limit, it's not a law, and you have 
every "right" to break it on a whim.  However, you need to realize that 
you are posting in a community, not on a public message board on a 
random internet site.  There are real people behind these screen names, 
and they have been here a lot longer than you have been, or at least 
longer than your alias has been here.  It's like wandering into 
Friendship Square and trying to engage everyone in a conversation at the 
same time, causing enough of a furor that people start picking up and 
walking away to get away from the ruckus.  Sure, it's not against the 
law, but it's definitely rude.   That is, in fact, one of the objections 
to anonymity on this list.  Using your real name forces you to think 
about your reputation in the local community.

We want you to have every chance to get your viewpoint across, but we 
also want to encourage everyone else to do the same.  That's hard to do 
when there are fifty threads all going on, and more coming every hour.

You seem like a decent enough person under that troll costume, why not 
calm down and work within the community's "rules"?
