Ms. Kraut -

George Bush did not "win" the 2000 presidential election. He was
"appointed" by the Supreme Court as a result of a large portion of Florida's
registered voters being disenfranchised or don't you remember appeal after
appeal after appeal after . . . being submitted by attorneys from both sides
of the political aisle.

Another item of interest: Had Florida split its electoral votes similarly
to the fashion in which Missouri (and a couple other states) does, Gore may
not have won the majority of Florida electoral votes, but Florida would have
provided him sufficient electoral votes for his inauguration in January.

To quote Al Gore from the 2004 Democratic National Convention, "You win
some. You lose some. Then there is that seldom used third category."

Take care, Moscow.

up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO. What a ride!'"

Which count do you want to use?? The one with all the hanging chads? Or the
one with only some of them?? I won't respond to anymore of these but watch
the video this many years down the road and see if you don't see new
hypocrisy in Florida guessing about people and their votes. Anyway you want
to look at it Gore lost.
