"try calling Student Health or the Financial Vice President's office for
specific answers to specific questions. Remember, filing a public records
request with the University will yield a wealth of information if one wishes
to have copies of provider contracts." Rose Huskey

Ask three questions
What is the name of the Director?
How many Days does he work in a week? (one)
How much does he make a year working that only one day a week? ($96,000)
http://www.webs.uidaho.edu/ipb/BudgetBooksFY04/salaryrec04.pdf
Then go see if his name shows up as a member of the Board of Directors and
Gritman.
If you don't think something is funny when a guy makes $96,000 a year for
working one day a week in Idaho, you might want to check into the Counseling
Center.
BTW, the Financial Vice President, Jay Kenton, is resigning (going to
Oregon, we wish him well and hope he gets over his cold), you will not get
anything out of him. Also that is the incorrect office anyway. If you want
to know anything about UI's budget, go to the UI Budget office, Not the VP
office, or go online here:
http://www.webs.uidaho.edu/ipb/Budget_Office/budgetoffice.htm Click on the
year, and then click on Auxiliary Services SBOE-Defined. Or for a direct
link to the 2004 budget click here.
http://www.webs.uidaho.edu/ipb/BudgetBooksFY04/AuxEnterprisesSBOE04.pdf
(At the top of this page you fill find the budget lines for Student Health
Insurance)
If you want a more detailed budget, you will have to pay for it. And they
get upset because all further budgeting is codified by numbers indicating
items and on microfiche. Quiet confusing and rather irritating and pointless
unless you are intimately familiar with UI accountancy. Simple fact is that
UI accounting is not what it should be. But they have some really good
people in that Budget office, top notch.
If you want a list of contracted services for UI Students go here:

If you want anymore information on UI health care, please, let me know,
would love to help.
Take Care,
