What is wrong or inaccurate about the Saturday headline?
The headline was "Slavery Revisited"
Wilson's book (and the subsequent emails from Wilson and his supporters)
is exactly that: a reconstructed view of slavery in the pre-Civil War
South and a Biblical justification for slavery.

Not to mention the biased article in the Daily News that left us all
scratching our heads saying "huh"?
If I were to write an article in the Daily News that noted that the Managing
Editor (Steve McClure) "had recently shown up at a dinner party, and he
didn't have his mistress with him" -- how would you understand that? While
it may be *factually* correct, it is *intentionally* misleading and designed
to slander and lead us to think something completely opposite of the truth.
Interesting how that works.
Such was the nature of that headline article in Saturday's Daily News. It
was designed to tell only half of the story. The rest will be leaked out in
today's edition. Such is the kind of paper that the National Enquirer runs;
not a local city newspaper.
But, hey! It sure props up sales for the local rag. And we *know* what sells
-- sensationalism, whether accurate or not.
Best,
Dale -- still waiting for a full page 1A with all the paper's retractions of
incorrect information in Saturday's paper.
