<P>Yeah, I can see your point (not).</P>
<P>Why would we want to be informed about political viewpoints of different people? Why would we want people attending events to learn about local, state, and national candidates? Why would we want to do something crazy like letting everyone engage in political discussion? We don't need any of this so called independent thinking. We are perfectly content on the notion of being spoon fed what the super media giants like FOX, CNN, ABC and NBC want us to be talking about. We should just accept whatever Bush, Kempthorne, and our elected (or non-elected) leaders tell us as gospel truth and give it not a moments thought. </P></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<P>Who cares if our local, state, and national leaders lied to us about the Iraq War and ended up killing thousands of innocent Iraqi men, women, children and our own boys and girls? Who cares if they have run up the largest national debt in history? Who cares if their backwards tax policies have destroyed our economy and lined their pockets with gold? Who cares if our schools are falling apart? Who cares if they slashed away our rights with the Patriot Act and our planning to take more away with the Victory Act? We can trust these people right? Come'on sheepeople, we don't need something like Vision2020 allowing people to freely speak out and say what they want. </P>

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<P>I for one think a bright light should go off in your head when a politician suggests that we should not endorse candidates, tell people about debates and forums going on to educate us about people we will be choosing to run our government, and stick to posting things like "I lost my bike" or "apartment for rent". Especially one that has used the internet to promote their candidacy for office. I am not saying that using the internet to promote&nbsp;your candidacy is wrong, just pointing to the irony of it.</P>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<P>I for one think that Vision2020 is a great forum for discussing issues, policy, and events in the area, political or not. I think if more people expressed their opinions and interacted with members of their community, thought for themselves, questioned authority, and took it upon themselves to listen and learn we would not live in a world that is so twisted and corrupt.</P>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<P>I hope all you express as many viewpoints and opinions you have while we still have the right to do so. They already can search your computer, tap your phone, and check what books you are reading at the library without even a warrant. Constitution, what constitution?</P>

<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; I've noticed several overtly political messages on Vision2020,
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; ranging from invitations for campaign events to endorsements
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt; &gt; of specific candidates.

<DIV></DIV>&gt;I think Gary's question as to propriety is right on target.

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;If Vision2020 becomes a place for a bunch of people to
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;endorse political candidates, that becomes another rock in

<DIV></DIV>&gt;discussion of issues.

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;Bill London is of course correct in pointing out that the
<DIV></DIV>

<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;list is not moderated, so I'd suggest what we need is
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV></DIV>&gt;self-discipline.
