2nd Amendment

I want to walk into a mall
and load my shopping cart with all
the stuff the government has got,
how could it be that I cannot?

An F16, a Tomahawk,
this isn't just some crazy talk,
the Constitution says I'm due
under Amendment number 2.

It says we should possess a way
to keep the government at bay
should they decide to kill us all
in massive vats of Anusol.

See, in the past we only had,
in case the government went mad,
our muskets to repel the swine,
but so did they so it was fine.

But now the state is well ahead
in having things that make you dead,
like tanks and bombs and flying drones
remote-controlled by mobile phones. 

Let's level out the playing field
and get us proper arms to wield:
an RPG, a laser beam;
fulfill the Founding Fathers' dream.

So I will hear no more rebuke
when trying to obtain a nuke,
or vials of anthrax and of SARS,
I think by right they should be ours.

And once we have these things, I'm sure,
you'll feel protected and secure
in knowing that not only you
but all your neighbors have them too.
