[Vision2020] This Week at the Latah Recovery Center

Upcoming offerings are listed below.  Free and open to all.
I want to highlight three items.
1.  This Tuesday night Doug W. is hosting 12 Steps for the Normie.  This
group will discuss how the basic elements of 12 steps programs can be used
by anyone to improve their lives.  It promises to be an interesting talk.
2.  On the 17th we are having an open discussion with LRC officers.  Sharon
and Darrell will be there to hear any concerns, ideas, etc you may have
regarding The Center.
3.  Anyone interested in becoming a Certified Peer Specialist should look
at the email I've copied after our calendar.

training application. Please note that scholarships will *not* be available
for these trainings and information detailing this can be found on our
website. Also note that we will be communicating with applicants only by
email.
 Applications for the Moscow training must be received by March 18, 2016
Applications for the Blackfoot and Boise trainings
must be received by April 18, 2016
*Applicants will receive email confirmation that their application was
received and meets the minimum qualifications which are outlined within the
application. Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will receive an
email invitation for a phone interview. **Moscow training candidates will
participate in their phone interviews in March. **Blackfoot training
candidates will participate in their phone interviews in April &
May. Boise training candidates will participate in their phone interviews
in May & June. **26 trainees will be accepted into each training.*
In addition to Peer Support Specialist Training, we are holding *Agency
Readiness Training* for agencies who would like to start, further
integrate, and/or sustain their peer support programs.  Agency Readiness
Training is designed for behavioral health agency administrators, peer
support specialist supervisors, and peer support specialists who have
already completed training and certification.  This training does *not*
apply to individuals who are applying to the Idaho Peer Support Specialist
Training.

***Please note that the Boise Agency Readiness Training is now full.*  The
Blackfoot and Moscow trainings are filling fast and we encourage you to
submit your registration as soon as possible.
