A fluffy black cat with insanely huge eyes is ready to take the crown as the cutest cat in the internet after several pictures of him went viral.

Gimo, a Scottish Fold, lives in South Korea and is featured in dozens of Instagram shot, sometimes along with two other cats who also live in the same apartment. 
With his moist, mesmerising eyes, Gimo has captivated thousands of acolytes online, who went bananas at his cuteness.

People have compared him to an owl, a tribble (fictional furry alien creatures in the Star Trek universe) and even to the sootballs in Miyazaki's Spirited Away animated film. 
Pictures depict him sitting in a cardboard box, looking at the mirror, preparing to jump from a secret location or simply staring at the camera with his big, hypnotic eyes. 

Sometimes Gimo  just wants to shy away from all the attention and curls up in bed, still staring with those precious peepers.
His wide-eyed expression looks perpetually surprised - or scared.
Either way, it is probably the most adorable thing on the internet since Grumpy Cat and Lil Bub.
