Moscow Police officers talk to a motorist after a car drove off state Highway 8 east of Mountain View Road and knocked down a pole for high-voltage power lines Friday. The car came to rest on the Latah Trail. The motorist was able to walk away from the crash. An Avista Utilities lineman was assessing the damage to the power lines.
