Brief: Planned Parenthood reopens Feb. 1
Pullman Planned Parenthood is preparing to reopen its facility at 1521 SE King Drive on Feb. 1, roughly six months after it was firebombed in early September.
While the 3,000 patients Planned Parenthood sees will begin receiving care again at the start of the month, a special community reopening celebration will be held Feb. 5.
The celebration is free and open to the public and will include an open house and a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Due to the temporary space acquired by Planned Parenthood at 745 N. Grand Ave., Suite 108, services and care for those on the Palouse were only lost for about a month.
