Palouse Plein Air 2015 – Reception and Awards Ceremony


September 23, 2015 (Moscow, Idaho) – The Third Street Gallery will host Palouse Plein Air 2015 at the Prichard Art Gallery September 25-26, 2015. The Reception and Awards Ceremony is Friday, September 25, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Prichard Art Gallery in the Children’s Education Studio. The One Day Sale will be September 26, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

For seven days, artists from our area and beyond will be hard at work painting in a variety of locations.  Come see these great works and vote for your favorite.


What is Plein Air?  French for “in the open air” used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Plein Air competitions are all about painting outdoors in a specific area or region and then having those paintings exhibited in an art gallery.

Palouse Plein Air 2015 is hosted by the City of Moscow, the Moscow Arts Commission, and the Prichard Art Gallery. The event is sponsored by Gritman Medical Center.
