City Hosts Park Design Workshops – Second in Series

May 29, 2015 (Moscow, Idaho) — The City of Moscow Parks and Recreation Department invites interested citizens to attend the second session of design workshops for Indian Hills and Itani Parks on the evening of June 2nd. The workshops will include interactive sessions and gathering of public input for the designs of these two parks.  Workshops will be held at the Hamilton Indoor Recreation Center located at 1724 East F Street, Moscow, Idaho.  The first workshop is for Indian Hills Park and is set to start at 6:00 p.m. the second workshop is for Itani Park and is set to start at 7:30 p.m. Citizens can participate in either or both workshops.

Workshop attendees will review and critique concepts generated from contributions of the first session of workshops, which was held on May 20th. Information from all workshops will be collected and included in design concepts for the parks.  The final designs will be presented to the City of Moscow Parks and Recreation Commission on July 23rd, who will then forward their recommendations on to the City Council for consideration.

The City has teamed up with Bernardo-Wills Architects PC, to assist with these very important design projects.
