Moscow Farmers Market – Activities for May 16th

May 11, 2015 (Moscow, Idaho) – Join us Saturday, May 16th for the Moscow Farmers Market on Main Street and in Friendship Square in Downtown Moscow! The Market runs from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. May through October and features live music, fresh local produce, delicious homemade baked goods, specialty food items, healthy nursery plants, beautiful flowers, and quality handmade crafts.

Music: Live music at Friendship Square will be provided by Nathun Finkhouse at 9:30 a.m. followed by Sesitshaya Marimba at 11:30 a.m.

Special Events: The Market will feature Moscow Pathways Commission from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. next to the City Tent, by the clock in Friendship Square. Also, don’t miss the Bike for Life event featuring free bike repair and swap in the 4th Street turn around, by the fountain from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Vendor of the Week:  Allan Family Farm Pullman, WA. Product highlights include:  beets, carrots, raspberry bushes, eggs, jams, kale, lettuce, parsnips, plants, radishes, salad greens, seedlings, spinach, squash, vegetable starts, and more. Allan Family Farms has been a vendor in the Moscow Farmers Market for 2 years. For more information visit: http://allanfamilyfarm.com/

Shop the Market: Area families can use EBT or SNAP benefits. Visit the Shop the Market booth at the City Tent, by the clock in Friendship Square, to receive “Market Money” which vendors will accept for approved purchases.


Please remember that no animals, except for ADA service dogs, are allowed at the Moscow Farmers Market.
