[Vision2020] Question, V-Peeps . . .

If I may preface my query with a statement . . .

It appears that all the Joseph Street Ballfields are lacking is some chalk, a few bases, and some home-plates for "Play Ball!" time.

Question:  Does anybody know, or know somebody who would know, when the first game is scheduled to be played at the Joseph Street Ballfields?

I checked with the City Clerk a while back.  She said something about 2016.  Heck!  Put together 18 kids with bats and baseballs . . . and a game could be played tomorrow.  Maybe everything is ahead of schedule.  That would be nice.

I would love to videotape the first home-plate umpire shouting "Play Ball!" at the Joseph Street Ballfields . . . immediately following . . . our city council . . . led by Mayor Lambert . . . in singing . . .

It only seems right, considering all the money, time, and effort that has gone into making the Joseph Street Ballfields a reality.

Anybody have any answers or suggestions for me?
