I decided to go ahead and scan a few of the (very, VERY) old pics, like this one I took back in October of 1985 in Germany (just east of Hof) while out on a Division FTX (field training exercise).

I wasn't sure if I was going to get another opportunity to photograph a 1K-zone sign or not, so I whipped out my old Kodak AE-1 and snapped a few. If I knew then what I know now, I would have grabbed the sign and tossed it into the back of the track . . . seeings how they aren't around anymore.

Scarier thought: I came across three old, used, but not-developed rolls of 35-mm film . . . no dates . . . no notes. Where was I when . . . ? The only way to answer that question is to get this film developed.

Do any of you fine V-Peeps know of anybody skilled in the ancient art of developing 35-mm film . . . jus' in case my curiosity overcomes better judgment (which I lack)?

I knew I shouldn't have gone out to the storage unit this morning.

Seeya 'round town, Moscow, because . . .
