Not trying to be funny. Just trying to spark a discussion. Admittedly, Tom's post has me stumped. It shows two urinals which is why I made my comment essentially of 'men only in the military back then?'. They look pretty much the same which would indicate to me that enlisted an officers were pretty much treated as equals. There's a shovel by the 'enlisted' one and I can't connect it to whatever is on top of the 'officers' one. I can't even tell what that object is. A light? Again, I'm not trying to be funny. Just trying to make sense out of the post.
I'm guessing there is a simple explanation, but I'm disappointed that I wasn't capable of decoding it on my own.
