Yes.  And I still feel that way.

HOWEVER, unlike Alexis, I do not have a history of mental problems.

Footnote:  The only reason the gun shop in Virginia refused to sell Alexis an AR-15 is because Alexis is from out-of-state and Virginia law does not permit non-state residents to purchase such weapons.
