[Vision2020] [Correction] Linda PaUL cited in police car collision in Cd'A

I appreciate your concern, but Tom and I do actually disagree about violent video games.  He apparently thinks it's offensive to upload a video about them if a real-world incident has occurred recently, and he also apparently disagrees with the promotion of those videos via Twitter.  I'm of the mindset that 1st-person shooters are fun, and that if you have an uncontrollable urge to shoot people that it would be better to take out that urge on unsuspecting virtual characters in a video game rather than doing so in meatspace.

He does, however, owe both the local Dale Courtney and "MoonPeople" an apology.  In my opinion.  Not that I expect that he cares about my opinion, but there it is.

Paul

Atta boy Tom!  This is the proper way to atone when you mistake someone's identity.  And now that you know the formula,
it's still not too late for you to issue apologies for your trifecta of mistakes from last December to:

1) The innocent bystander & mistaken identity Dale Courtney (https://twitter.com/MoonPeople)
2) The real Dale Courtney for besmirching his character here on the viz
3) Paul Rumelhart for implying that you were morally superior to him

Here's the link if your memory is kind of fuzzy on this one:

My apologies for confusing 68 year-old Moscow resident Linda PaUL with Moscow resident Linda PaLL.

If these ARE two different people, I will make my apologies more thorough, online, . . . and personally to Linda Pall.

N. Idaho Woman Sideswipes 2 Police Vehicles

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Idaho State Police say a northern Idaho motorist failed to move over far enough and sideswiped two Latah County Sheriff's vehicles conducting a traffic stop.
Police say 68-year-old Linda Paul of Moscow wasn't injured nor were the two deputies in the collision at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 95.
Both deputies were out of their vehicles and each vehicle had its overhead lights activated on the southbound shoulder.
Police say Paul approached from the south driving a 2008 Mercury Mountaineer and struck a 2012 Chevy Tahoe and a 2008 Ford Expedition.
Police say the Mountaineer and Tahoe had to be towed from the scene.
