[Vision2020] A 60s flashback . . .

They, manufacturers/retailers of assault rifles (better known as the NRA constituency), place the sale of their product ahead of the safety of children.

Rifles have a long shelf life.  Hence, there are not many repeat customers.  To "beef up" sales, manufacturers/retailers benefit (extremely) on fear tactics ("Obama wants to take your guns away", etc.), coupled with "come and get them while you can" sales.

After that, the murders of children amount to nothing more than unrelated side-effects.

It all comes down to one thing . . . $$$$$$.
