[Vision2020] Anoushka Shankar Today on "Democracy Now" Re: "One Billion Rising" Against Violence to Women

I was amazed this morning when watching "Democracy Now" on KUID PBS on-air
television (free... no cable or satellite!) to see and hear Anoushka
Shankar giving a statement in person regarding the "One Billion Rising"
effort.  Anoushka is the daughter to the just recently passed away famous
Indian sitar player Ravi Shankar, and half sister to famous
singer/songwriter Norah Jones, also the daughter of Ravi Shankar.

You can watch and listen to Anoushka's statement on "Democracy Now" at the
following website, which offers the exact segment from the one hour
"Democracy Now" show during which Anoushka appears!

I had no clue Anoushka was this much of an activist, though given the
spirit in her music it makes sense:
