[Vision2020] Searching house by house in Boston

I'm still puzzled why a judge ruled that is was OK not to read the bomber
his Miranda rights.  This could undo the whole case against him.  This is a
real question in this case since apparently information was elicited
without the warning.

Is Gary's question hypothetical?  Did someone actually refuse to allow a
search?  Either way, it is an important question.  I am not a criminal and
do not indulge in criminal activities.  None-the-less, absent an extreme,
extreme case, I would never consent to a warrantless search.  I have a lot
of private business that is no one else's save the transacting parties.
Police discretion is not perfect, and in Idaho, very much less than perfect.

There is case law on searches during emergencies, but I've forgotten what
it is.  I don't have Lexus/Nexus, so I can't look it up easily.
