I have absolutely no argument with people defending their homes; merely the methid they apply.

I, too, have a weapon at home; a shotgun.  Shotguns have a far shorter effective range than an AR-15.  I prefer it that way.  After all, my intent would be to prevent a bad guy from gaining entry into my residence, NOT to kill the child down the street.
