So let me understand this; Gritman which is shutting down its adult day care center and kicking the elderly out with no other place in town to go because it doesn't have any money, has $2 million to toss on the purchase of a broken down old building, and millions more on its repair and renovation?

This is the second time in six years Moscow has allowed the elderly to be kicked to the curb. First, Latah Health Services, and now Gritman Adult Day Care. If Karma is for real, it is gonna be a very nasty retirement home for those that let this happen.

Gritman new owner of Moscow Federal Building

2012.

The mystery as to who won the $2.38 million bid for the Moscow Federal
Building was solved with an announcement by its new owner, Gritman Medical
Center, today following its Pink Tea fundraiser.

The auction closed early Sunday with Gritman putting in a final $20,000
offer over a $2.36 million bid Saturday with no one else challenging. The
hospital had 10 business days to provide 10 percent of the bid or a little
more than $238,000.

Hospital board director B.J. Swanson said the hospital wanted to expedite
the process and supplied the deposit earlier today.
