On May 7, 2012, Henry Johnston presented a complaint to the Moscow City Council concerning the megaload protestors and Mayor Chaney's recognition, in the form of an award on Earth Day, of those protestors.

On May 21, 2012, Mayor Chaney responded to Mr. Johnston's complaints.
