Impaired Driving Enforcement

March 7, 2012 (Moscow, Idaho) - The Moscow Police Department, in conjunction with agencies throughout the state, is focusing their efforts to stop impaired drivers. Impaired drivers represent an enormous risk to everyone on Idaho roadways.

In an effort to eliminate alcohol related motor vehicle fatalities and serious injuries, the Moscow Police Department will conduct alcohol emphasis patrols between March 10th and March 18th, 2012 in efforts to reduce the number of DUI related incidents.

The following are impaired driving statistics provided by the Idaho Transportation Department:
