I think the intent is good, I'm just worried about the ramifications of this new "do this or be taxed" precedent down the road.

Or, get so sick that your medical bills wipe out your savings, you lose your home, the kids college fund is MIA, and (luckily for you) end in the safety net of Medicade, which some of us are happy to support because everyone deserves thoughtful, professional, timely, healthcare.   Maybe your glass is half empty, Gary, mine is approaching three quarters full.  And now, on to single payer, universal health care for every person in this country.

And with this decision BHO has implemented the largest middle class tax hike ever.
 
I'm also loving the notion that the government can now tell you to purchase a product
(of your own free will of course) or face a punitive tax. Talk about taking the free out of personal freedom, buy what you are told or face the wrath of the IRS and ultimately
