CRAPO TO WELCOME FOREST SERVICE CHIEF, DISCUSS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ISSUES, ADDRESS BOISE CHAMBER
Senator will speak to Idaho Legislature, local students next week

Boise - Idaho Senator Mike Crapo and U.S. Forest Service Chief Tom Tidwell will speak during a meeting of the Idaho Environmental Forum next week, highlighting a four-day visit to Boise during the President's Day state work period.  Crapo will also update federal efforts to aid victims of domestic and teen dating violence during a news conference at the Idaho Statehouse and he will speak to the Idaho Legislature and the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce on fiscal issues facing Congress.

Crapo's Treasure Valley schedule includes:

Monday, February 20:

Noon              Boise             Joins Forest Service Chief Tom Tidwell to discuss collaborative land management issues and the new forest planning rule.
                                                Idaho Environmental Forum, Crystal Ballroom, 812 W. Bannock.

1:30 PM          Boise             Participates in joint news conference with Chief Tidwell, Idaho Statehouse Lower Level West Wing Conference Room.

Tuesday, February 21:

10:30 AM        Boise             Joins Chief Justice Roger Burdick and the Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence to
                                                 provide an update on efforts to stop domestic violence and teen dating violence.  Idaho Statehouse South Steps
                                                                 (inside in case of rain).

Wednesday, February 22:

10:00 AM       Garden City   Speaks to the Idaho Ag Summit, Riverside Hotel, 2900 West Chinden.
