10:12 a.m. - A 22-year-old male was arrested in the 500 block of N.E. Maiden Lane for first-degree burglary and third-degree malicious mischief.  The male reportedly broke into his girlfriend's apartment and damaged the walls with a machete.  One of the tenants was home at the time and locked herself into her bedroom while he was there.  He later admitted to the accusations but officers still aren't sure where he obtained the machete or why he had it with him.

 



 

I wonder why this wasn't front page news.  Does anyone know anything about this?  This sounds serious, and is yet another instance of domestic violence.
