PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
City of Moscow to Participate in Moment of Remembrance
September 8, 2011 (Moscow, Idaho) -
The City of Moscow will participate in a Stop and Remember National Moment of Remembrance honoring the 10th anniversary of the attacks on 9/11.
At 10 a.m. in downtown Moscow, a fire truck will sound its siren at Moscow Fire Station 1.
That siren will signify the start of the moment of remembrance during which the University of Idaho and local churches will ring the bells for a full minute.
The community is asked to please observe a moment of silence during the one-minute Stop & Remember observance.
###
Stop & Remember calls for first responders, houses of worship, cities and others throughout the United States to sound sirens and bells as a signal to stop and remember the tenth anniversary of the tragedies of September 11, 2001.
