The budget cuts in education, coupled with continued reduction in tenured tracks at the university, should be a major concern to all of us . . .

"Little Johnny cannot get a quality education like his mommy and daddy did.  But, jus' think of all the money daddy saved on taxes."

In the next decade or two, with anticipated advances in Idaho's LLES (Looney Luna Education System), little Johnny's children will be able to obtain a high school education and a college degree without ever leaving the house . . . simply update their computer software.  

Who knows?

If/When Netflix merges with Idaho's LLES . . . 

The school classroom will be cast aside with the 8-track cassette, pay telephone booths and the human conscience.

Then, just maybe, in some digitized chatroom, somebody will ask the inevitable question . . .

"Where did we go wrong?"
