Mr. Schwaller, the whole point is that NPR is free from bias because
they don't have to pander to corporate advertisers. You understand
that, don't you?
-Reggie
Who said anything about bias?!?!?! But if you want to play that game,
well ok . . .
You seem to want to paint corporate advertisers with a pretty wide
bush. So, there are absolutely no businesses out there that don't
have a conservative bias and would therefore have an influence on NRP
reporting? You should sit down for a couple of hours and watch what
I'm sure you would call a biased cable network news program (no
Campbell, not the commentary programs; but NEWS) and see how many
LOCAL businesses are advertising. If locals felt biased new reporting
was doing everyone such a horrendous injustice I would think they
would say "Hey - don't be putting me on THAT program. And don't give
me that lame excuse that they have no control over where their ads are
shown. Many big corporations advertise across the board! CBS, NBC,
FOX, CNN, MSNBC - you'll find them all there. So just how do these
corporations use their political influence for promoting bias on all
these different networks?? C'mon Reg, you understand that you can do
better than that, don't you?
