When these things happen, it gives insight into the anger, though misdirected, of the tea baggers and other radical groups.

Subject: [Vision2020] Otter names Teresa Luna as director of administration
It seems pretty clear to me that things are going to go from bad to worse
for State employees with Teresa Luna officially at the helm of the
Department of Administration -- I've not heard good things about her job
performance so far :-(
Just goes to show, I guess, that Otter is quite comfortable with political
patronage. This just adds another layer to Tom Luna's willingness to do
Otter's bidding with respect to cutting education funding & attacking the
middle class.

Otter names Teresa Luna as director of administration
March 11, 2011, 1:40 pm
Idaho Gov. C.L. "Butch" Otter appointed Teresa Luna director of the state
Department of Administration this afternoon. She is the sister of Tom Luna,
state superintendent of public schools. She had been serving as interim
director in that department since the retirement of Mike Gwartney.
"Teresa has proven herself through some very tough times, advancing the
priorities and initiatives that she and Mike set together during his tenure
and continuing to focus the Department of Administration's efforts on
finding smarter, more efficient ways of managing everything from information
systems to purchasing," Otter said in a news release issued today .
"It's a privilege to work for a governor who gives his agency directors the
flexibility and freedom to be innovative in our management in order to be
more effective in our use of taxpayers' dollars," Luna said.
