If we take the route to be as reported in the LMT and the MPDN,
as correct [not necessarily a valid assumption] . . .

then there must be some obstacle across Spokane and on to CdA
[freeway reconstruction?], or from Colfax to Spokane, and also
from Pullman to Moscow, that requires connecting from US-195
to US-95 near the top of the Lewiston Hill, then north on 95,
through Moscow, and on to CdA and I-90 to Montana???

Anyone know how to sleuth out the barrier from Colfax to Spokane
to CdA?

From the route description in the article, they will be coming through
Moscow. To intersect with 95 from 195 they would have to.
Saw the megaload contraption sitting at Lolo Hot Springs this week. We
were told the company put lots of bucks into upgrading power lines in
areas along Highway 12 so they wouldnâ??t have a repeat of causing power
outages along that route. Iâ??m not sure why as most of those main
power lines are underground up toward the pass.
