[Vision2020] And the Saga Continues . . . (unfortunately)

To put it simply, Mr. Falen . . .

The Tea Party applied extortion through their puppet (Speaker Boehner) during the debt ceiling discussions. It worked. Even Mr. Boehner admitted that he got 98% of what he and the GOP/Tea Party sought.

Is it mere coincidence that the downward spiral of the market commenced almost immediately after the bill was signed?

The Tea Party is trying to solve the problem by reducing spending and reducing the debt. They also would like an amendment to balance the budget. I would like to see the budget balanced also, but am not sure that an amendment is the way to do it.
