PRESS RELEASE
The Moscow Police Department and the City of Moscow Sustainable Environment Commission are teaming up with the U.S. Department of Justice and The Drug Enforcement Administration for a National Take Back Initiative. This program is a nationwide program allowing anyone and everyone to drop off their unwanted medications. The event will be held at The Farmers Market on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm.
The Moscow Police Department is inviting anyone who wants to dispose of their unwanted medications to bring them to the Farmers Market. An officer will be present in the Friendship Square section to take possession of the medications to ensure proper disposal. We are still unable to accept liquid medications or any sharps (needles). If you have any questions please contact Officer Jesse Applehans at 208-883-7051.
