Roving Campus Security Officers

Hours/Week:     8-32 hrs/wk

Qualifications:     Availability and flexibility with schedule; favorable
motor vehicle record; favorable drug and background screen; 3+ years
driving history; proven ability to handle difficult situations in a
responsible, respectful and professional manner; ability to maintain a
clean and professional image; HS diploma or GED; reliable transportation;
physically capable to walk 8 hour patrols; ability to return calls within
30 minutes.

Description:     Conducts regular patrols throughout the campus with an
eye towards detecting and deterring incidents and threats to the campus
community and property. Provides walking security escorts for students,
staff, and visitors as requested. Responds to calls for assistance,
supports other responding officials including college staff, municipal
police and other emergency providers as planned and directed.
