[Vision2020] How many subscribers?

Sure, there was nothing wrong with the horse, but the car is better suited for the 21st century.
Establishing my Facebook account was free. I don't see why we would have to reinvent the wheel for Vision 2020.
This V list is a faceless anonymous site with limited information sharing. I think this lack of communication leads to problems, miscommunications, and limited opportunities.
My thinking is, V2020 should be a facebook page and this mailing list phased out. I want to see who I am talking to, share pictures, places, events, etc. Not have my mailbox filled with 100 emails a day with faceless people arguing pointlessly. Just my take.

Reinventing FaceBook for the Palouse would require a large investment of time
and effort that is not necessary to sustain the mailing list functionality
used by Vision2020. I agree with Sam that more data about this list's
membership would be useful and informative, but large development investments
simply are not needed to provide links to already-existing Web sites for
various other data, either personal or topical.
