MOSCOW ARBOR DAY CEREMONY

AT MCDONALD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

 

 

The City of Moscow and McDonald Elementary School will be hosting
Moscow's annual Arbor Day ceremony and tree planting at 1:00 pm, Friday,
April 30, 2010 in the new tree lawn on D Street just west of the school.
This year's ceremony will include planting four aptly named
"Celebration" Maples with help from the McDonald Elementary School sixth
grade class.  Moscow will also be receiving the City's 17th Tree City
USA Award and 15th Tree City USA Growth Award.  Members of the public
are encouraged to attend the ceremony, help plant the maple trees, and
take home free seedling trees.
