The note you forwarded from Michael Moore urging the religious to heed the message of Christ to help the unfortunate instead of amassing riches is hopelessly out of date.  

The Calvinists, including local Christ Church Cult Crackpot Douglas Wilson, have pointed out that Jesus (whom they believe somehow to be the same as their alleged god) was in error in this regard.  (However, this claim seems a little inconsistent with their claims of Bible inerrancy.)
