FOURTH PLAZA CONCERT FEATURES SYMPHONY STRING QUARTET

MOSCOW,  ID,  JULY 24, 2009:    Heart of the Arts, Inc., and the Washington-Idaho Symphony join forces once again for chamber music on the Plaza at the 1912 Center Monday evening.  The Washington-Idaho Symphony String Quartet will be featured at the fourth Plaza Concert at the 1912 Center Monday, July 27, free to the public,  with music beginning at 6:30 P.M.  The Quartet is composed of three veteran Washington-Idaho Symphony string players and a relative newcomer.  Violinists Becky Miller and Molly Banks and cellist Linda Wharrton are joined by newcomer, Grace Young, violist. Beethoven and Haydn quartets are the centerpieces of Monday's night's musical offerings.

      The Plaza Concert Series' Sixth season is sponsored by Heart of the Arts, Inc., manager of the 1912 Center.  The evening begins at 6 PM with food available for purchase on the plaza from Peri's Garden, a delicious combination of middle eastern fare. Music follows at 6:30 P.M. on the Plaza. Season tickets for the Symphony will be available for purchase. The concert is free to the public and patrons are welcome to bring their own supper for the evening. 

      Musicians donate their artistry to the community for this series of summer concerts. In  the event of inclement weather, the entire program is moved inside to the 1912 Center Great Room. Additional information can be secured from Linda Pall, Plaza Concert Series producer, 208-882-7255.
