[Vision2020] Is Our City Council 'Pulling a Palin'onDowntown Parking

Why are we debating about what we all seem to agree on -- Letterman's joke, whether about Bristol or Willow, was awful and he's apologized. I think by this point we all would unite together to condemn anyone who makes ugly jokes about famous peoples' kids. I agree with Sunil -- Palin is a public figure and she's a fair target for criticism and judgment -- but I'd hope the issue we're trying to discuss is of greater substance than which daughter of a public figure was the target of a really bad "joke."

Bullshit. Letterman clarified who the joke was about.

Bristol is low order sophistry. And since the post you're responding to was
directed to the hamster, I didn't really expect you to be running any
errands on my behalf either.

And since Letterman was making a joke about Palin's eldest
daughter, I won't be running that other errand for you either. Look for
it yourself if you're that interested in it.
