I'm going to be candid, if democracy is as you describe it -- and I'm
not disputing that it is -- then I am glad for its decay. Rule by the
majority? Yuck. American Idol would become high art (and required
viewing for graduate students). I could itemize the other, numerous
invasions, but you could probably guess them, based on the general
tenor of my Vision2020 postings.  Assuming that you have been reading
them, of course, which you might not have been.
