PRESS RELEASE



 

 

Moscow Police Department, in conjunction with law enforcement throughout
the state of Idaho, is increasing patrols directed at impaired driving.

 

Moscow Police Department is currently participating in patrols directed
at the enforcement of the state's impaired driving laws. Patrols
dedicated to decreasing impaired driving often yield violations other
than the ones targeted.   

 

Within the city of Moscow and throughout the state of Idaho, directed
patrols consistently result in:

- Warrant arrests

-Drug arrests

-Child safety seat violations

-Suspended license citations

-Uninsured motorist citations 

 

MPD and agencies throughout the state are continuing to direct their
efforts through the New Year. 

 

Please plan for a sober driver this New Year holiday.
