[Vision2020] PERSI Update

Visionaries:

I was in Boise Friday and talked with the Deputy Director of PERSI.
During this steep recession the PERSI fell about 16% to it's low point.
However, this contrasts favorably in comparison with other similar
retirement funds whose value dropped from 20-30%.

Overall PERSI is down about 8-10% from it's high point and recovered
more than 5% in July.  The Fund is coming out of the recession not
only faster but in much better position than other similar funds.  The
total value of the PERSI portfolio is around $9.7 billion.  So at this
point in time the fund looks in solid position.
