The Moscow Tree Commission and the City of Moscow invite you to attend
the 2009 Arbor Day celebration at the Latah County Courthouse this
Friday, April 24th at 11:30 am.  Please see details below and share the

MOSCOW ARBOR DAY CEREMONY

AT THE LATAH COUNTY COURTHOUSE

 

 

The City of Moscow and Latah County will be hosting Moscow's annual
Arbor Day ceremony and tree planting at 11:30 am, Friday, April 24, 2009
in the new parking lot at the Latah County Courthouse.  This year's
ceremony will include the planting of two "Aristocrat" Flowering Pear
trees and a presentation by the Moscow High School Environmental Club.
The City will also be receiving its 16th Tree City USA Award and its
14th Tree City USA Growth Award.  Members of the public are encouraged
to attend the ceremony, help plant the pear trees, and take home free
seedling trees.  The ceremony will be held in the Courthouse basement
meeting room in case of inclement weather.
