[Vision2020] 1 in 10 on Food Stamps, 8.5% Unemployment

It is very sad when one in ten Americans cannot even afford to feed themselves without government assistance.

8.5% of the population is unemployed. When you count underemployment and those who have give up on looking for work, that number gets to about 15%, or about 1 in 6 people.
