City of Moscow Accepting Applications for Community Services Organizations Grant

 

Moscow, Idaho, September 18, 2008 - The City of Moscow is offering the Community Services Organizations Grant as allowed by Resolution 2000-15.  This grant offers funding to organizations providing community services on behalf of the City of Moscow.  Friday, October 10, 2008 at 4 p.m. is the deadline for filing applications for the grant program.  

 

For organizations interested in applying for a grant this year, please visit www.ci.moscow.id.us <http://www.ci.moscow.id.us/>  and click on "City of Moscow - Community Service Grant Program Applications Due October 10, 2008 - 4:00 p.m." under News and Events for an application.  Provided is an overview of the grant program, Resolution 2000-15 and an application.  The summary application is used to provide an overview of each application to allow for efficient review by the City Council.  Applicants are encouraged to include additional beneficial information, brochures, etc. as attachments.

 

Applications will be reviewed on October 27, 2008 in a City Council workshop.  Applicants are encouraged to attend this workshop and provide a 5 minute presentation to support their application.  

 

Funding of grants totaling $19,000 will be forwarded for City Council approval on November 3, 2008.  Approved funds will be dispersed mid-November, 2008.
