This brings to mind Simon and Garfunkel's 1966 juxtaposition of the 7 O'Clock 
News and Silent Night, not to mention listening to Xmas season renditions of 
Silent Night while Walter Cronkite reported Lyndon Johnson's latest actions.

Of course, I was just a youngster then without access to fully automatic iron.
