[Vision2020] McCain and Obama's connection to Domestic Terrorists

I wonder why the conservative biased media has not attacked McCain for those he was close friends with that have attacked US Soldiers and destroyed Government buildings and property. 
 
It is a well known fact that during the Civil War, many of McCain's close friends and well known Generals like Robert E. Lee, and "Stonewall" Jackson attacked and killed thousands of US soldiers. 
 
Why is it OK that Obama's connections to domestic terrorists is discussed, but the buddies of McCain's youth goes unchallenged?
